C. Properties of potable water pipe
1) Get black surface color with striking blue strip on pipe.
2) Working temperature is less than 40 degree provided in state criterion GB/T13663-2000.
3) High intensity, excellent performance of stress-resistance, toughness and flexibility.
4) Excellent weathering resistance, thermal stability, resistance to UV sunrays.
5) Anti-corrosion, long service life. Wear-resistance, Impact-resistance.
6) Small resistance means pipe is slick inner wall. Low construction cost.
7) Working temperature is from -20 degree to 40 degree, construction in winter is also doable.
8) Electric melting and hot melting jointing ways facilitate installation and maintenance.
9) Only constituent carbon and hydrogen contained in polyethylene material which does no harm to human being. Sanitation and non-toxic.
10) Coefficient of thermal expansion is over 10 times that of DI and steel and 3 times that of PVC. In practical terms, this means HDPE pipe shrinks 10 times as much as DI and 3 times as much as PVC when it gets cold. This can loosen any fittings installed on it.
