产品特性
己二酸俗称肥酸，又称己烷二羧酸，分子式为C6H10O4，分子量146.14。常温下为单斜晶体。熔点152℃，沸点337.5℃，相对密度1.366。溶于乙醇、乙醚、丙酮等，成品己二酸是白色、结晶型、无嗅的固体。在空气中具有良好的稳定性，微溶于水，易溶于酒精、乙醚等大多数有机溶剂，具有脂肪族二元酸的通性，包括成盐反应、酯化反应、酰胺化反应等，并能与二元胺缩聚成高分子聚合物。
产品用途
己二酸可同多官能团的化合物进行缩合反应，如己二胺。工业上，利用己二酸同己二胺的苏荷反应生产尼龙66盐（简称AH盐），尼龙66盐进一步缩聚即可得到尼龙66树脂。此外，己二酸还可同醇类反应生产己二酸酯，用作增塑剂、合成润滑剂和聚酯多元醇等产品，可用于各种食品和饮料的酸味剂。由于己二酸不潮解，特别适用于干的食品，能贮存较长时间。
